Flora, a Carroll County native, was married to William Gillam on Oct. 19, 1904, by the Rev. H.W. Steen of Wheeling, Indiana. The couple lived in Ervin Township their entire married life. They were the parents of 3 daughters: Lois (Mrs. Clifford) Smith, Ruth (Mrs. Dale) Brower, both of Kokomo, and Vera, of Ervin Township, and had 4 granddaughters, and 2 great-grandchildren at the time of Flora's death in 1959.
