Long Term Lovers of Howard County

James Madison and Margaret O. (Allbright) Woolley : 64 Years
Married June 13th, 1867

James Madison Woolley was born in Orange county, Indiana the youngest of fourteen children. Mr. Woolley kept the toll gate west of Kokomo for eighteen years and worked as a carpenter most of his life. Margaret O. Allbright was born in Ohio, the youngest of thirteen children. James & Margaret were married in Howard County on June 13, 1867 by Rev. Hayden Rayburn. They were the parents of five children. Three were living in 1923, Mrs. J. H. Garritson, Mrs Otis Howard, and Charles E. Woolley, all of Kokomo. Mr. & Mrs. Woolley are long-time faithful members of the Christian Church.
