Query Guidelines

We do accept queries, however, limited staff time does not allow us to do in-depth research. We will look in indexed sources, such as, WPA indexes, indexed histories in the library's collection, cemetery indexes, obituaries for people in the Howard County area if you have a date of death or it is in an indexed source.

For more in-depth research, email us and request our list of researchers who specialize in genealogical research in Indiana. Please contact one of them for quotes on their fees.

There is a $12.00 per hour research fee + 10 cents per page copied. You will be billed upon receipt of copies.
